Jewel K. "Judy" Blue, 93, of Katy, Texas, formerly of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at her home.

She was a member of Henderson Church of Christ.  Judy enjoyed reading, traveling, sewing, and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Willis Berton Blue, Sr., who died in 1969; her son, Dr. Willis Berton Blue, Jr., who died in 1998; one sister, Ann Eddins; and one brother, Dr. A.C. Kennedy, Jr.

Survivors include three daughters, Martha Ann Jones and Mary Sue Abner, both of Henderson, Kentucky, and Kay DePeppe and her husband, Gerald, of Katy, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Marlene Watson Blue of Henderson, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law, Clydine Blue and Lyndall Blue, both of Henderson, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Kyle DePeppe, Brent DePeppe, Joshua Dane Abner, Matthew Bradley Abner, Amy Lee Dones, Teresa K. Jones, Guy Lundy Jones, Willis Berton Blue, III, John Sayles, and Jerad Sayles; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Gary Puryear will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
