Jeffrey David Schweinfurth, 63, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018, surrounded by family.

He was a successful broker for many years in the metals industry.  Jeff was an avid golfer in his younger years and was a horse racing enthusiast.  He was a people person with a quick wit and a great sense of humor.  Jeff's greatest achievement was his son, John, who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Schweinfurth.

Survivors include one son, John D. Schweinfurth, II, and his wife, Brittany, of Pensacola, Florida; his mother, Lois Jean Schweinfurth of Henderson, Kentucky; two sisters, Kim McClure and her husband, Brett, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Tracy Brown and her husband, Eric, of Henderson, Kentucky; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 19 in Medina, Ohio.
