Jeannine F. King, 86, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church.  Jeannine was a loving and generous person giving her time to many church and civic organizations.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed entertaining with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Llelwyn Kermit B. King; and her parents, Joseph and Pauline Fox.

Survivors include one daughter, Mitzi Tomlingson and her partner, Annie Taylor, of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, Michael King and his wife, Vickie, of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Beverly Chandler of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kati Julian and her husband, Mark, Michael C. King and his wife, Katie, and Matthew A. King and his wife, Lexi; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend James Wofford will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
