Jean Carolyn Gregory, 84, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center surrounded by her family.

She was a devoted member of Henderson General Baptist Church.  Carolyn served as a librarian at Weaverton and East Hights Elementary Schools.  She also worked in the office at Sureway Food Stores.  Carolyn's pride and joy was taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Fred A. Gregory, who died February 14, 2020; her parents David and Iona Odom; and one sister, Shirley Oglesby.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Gregory and his wife, Martie, and John Gregory and his wife, Dona, both of Henderson, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Zack Gregory and his wife, Chelsey, Kelsey Gregory Burgett and her husband, John Michael, Jordan Gregory and his wife, Ashley, and Nick Gregory and his wife, Ellen; three great-grandchildren, Sarah Cate Gregory, Lucy Caroline Gregory, and Noah Burgett; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Chad Hensley will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Relatives and friends are invited to Carolyns's life celebration from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, and until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Zack Gregory, Jordan Gregory, Nick Gregory, John Michael Burgett, Mark Gregory, and Phillip Branson.
