James Darrell Hendrickson, 60, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

Darrell lived his life spreading joy with his sense of humor and love for his children.  He worked as a business owner in the electrical field for many years.  He had a lifelong love for fast cars and flying RC airplanes.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Hendrickson.

Survivors include one daughter, Dusty Hendrickson of Henderson, Kentucky; one son, Michael Hendrickson of Corydon, Kentucky; his mother, Rita Louise Mills Hendrickson of Henderson, Kentucky; his father, William Howard Hendrickson of Evansville, Indiana; five sisters, Kathy Harrison of Texas, Angie Cornish and her husband, Chris, of Princeton, Kentucky, and Jennifer Meredith, Cindy Schreder, and Julie Cavalcante and her husband, Michael, all of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Robbie Hendrickson of Iowa; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.
