Harry Lloyd Duke, 89, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord at 9:40 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2021, at his home.

Known as Duke by many, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, and friend.  He took great pride in his yard and was an avid UK Basketball fan.  After serving 3 years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he was awarded the Purple Heart, Duke was hired at George Koch and Sons in Evansville, Indiana, where he worked for 42 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Enola "Tudie" Duke, who died August 15, 2014; two sons, James Martin "Jimmy" Brown and Rocky Brown; his parents, Odie and Madge Hibbs Duke; two daughters-in-law, Gilda Brown and Cheryl Brown; one brother, Odie "Zeke" Duke; and one sister, Betty Ann Wilson.

Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Turner of Henderson and Ralina Armstrong and her husband, Phil, of Henderson; one son, Teddy Brown and his wife, Pam, of Newburgh, Indiana; nine grandchildren: Melody Dickerson (Steve), April Smith (Derrick), Brooklyn Fitzsimmons (John), Jay Brown (Danielle), Lynsey Lamont (Mark), Jeremy Jones, Josh Brown (Sara), Natalie Stone (Steve), and Sarah Henrichs (Jacob); 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Monday, September 27, 2021, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Duke's grandson, Jeremy Jones, will officiate.  Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana, with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
