Gerald Lance Farris, Jr., 45, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at his home.

He was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on October 29, 1980, to Gerald Lance Farris and Betty "Brucie" Edwards Farris.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Lance Farris; and his grandparents, William and Elizabeth Jane Edwards and Gerald F. and Emma Bernice Farris.

Survivors include his mother, Betty "Brucie" Edwards Farris of Henderson, Kentucky; and his sister, Kelli Farris; and his longtime caregiver and "second mom" Sheila Wesby.

Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026, at First Christian Church.  Dr. Chuck Summers, the Reverend David Clifford, and the Reverend Amy Cates will officiate.

There will be no visitation.
