George Alexander
Meuth
Jul 22, 1945 — Sep 28, 2023
Henderson
With profound sorrow and love in our hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of George Alexander Meuth, 78, who entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 28, 2023. A lifelong resident of Henderson, Kentucky, his selflessness and benevolence immeasurably impacted all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
A true servant of his community, George was always there with an open heart and helping hand, ensuring his neighbors never felt alone. Whether assisting with household tasks or generously offering his craftsman skills to those in need, George exemplified a spirit of genuine kindness and compassion.
His love extended to the small, buzzing creatures of the beekeeping world, where he passionately engaged in hive recovery and swarm assistance, always ready to share his wisdom and experience with others in the community. His dedication to service, both to people and nature, will remain a cherished memory to all who knew him.
George leaves behind his treasured wife, Carmen Kay Andrew; his sons, Scott Meuth and Glenn Meuth; and stepdaughters, Karla Young and Kim Dunkleberger. His legacy of love, unity, and benevolence will forever linger in their hearts, continuously blooming in the stories and memories shared.
He will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Forrest, Donnie, and Harroll, as they keep alive the unbreakable bond formed through a lifetime of shared experiences.
Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories of shared adventures, joyous laughter, and the sweet, amber honey, symbolic of George's love and labor. His spirit, encapsulated in these precious memories, will forever resonate within us.
A Mass in memory of George will be held noon Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson, Kentucky. Father Christopher Grief will officiate. Inurnment will be in St. Louis Cemetery Columbarium in Henderson, Kentucky.
Friends and family are invited to join us as we celebrate and honor a life so beautifully lived and express gratitude for the precious moments we shared with him.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Kentucky Beekeepers https://kybees.org/page-18285 supporting a cause dear to George's heart.
