Freddy Michael Curtis, 72, of Marion, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024, at his daughter's home in Henderson, Kentucky.

He was born in Asheville, North Carolina, on October 21, 1951, to the late Dee and Hazel Curtis.  Freddy was a devoted son and brother.  He loved hunting and fishing and his little dog, Sadie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Davy Curtis and Tracy Curtis.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Overfield and her significant other, Ronnie Reingardt, of Henderson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Derrick Overfield and his wife, Kristy, and Chase Overfield and his wife, Kelly, both of Henderson, Kentucky; three great-grandchildren; Sophia Overfield, Elliott Overfield, Hudson Overfield; Freddy's significant other, Billie Jean Spencer of Evansville, Indiana; three brothers, Danny Curtis, Tony Curtis and his wife, Gayle, and Timmy Curtis and his significant other, Mary Ann; his sister-in-law, Cindy Curtis; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held with family and friends in North Carolina.
