Eva Lee Perkins, 98, of Henderson, Kentucky, died at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Colonial Assisted Living.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a retired teacher and receptionist with the Henderson County Board of Education.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, O.S. "Buddy" Perkins; her parents, Lee Andrew and Naomi Denton; and one brother, Morris H. Denton.

Survivors include three children, Rodney G. Perkins (Jane) of Hawesville, Kentucky, Sherry Smith (Jim) of Henderson, Kentucky, and Daniel Perkins (Kristy) of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Candy, Ginger, and John; five great-grandchildren, Christian, Ainslee, Bailee, Avery, and Luke; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at First United Methodist Church with the Reverends James Wofford and Cindy Green officiating.  Entombment will be in Fairmont Mausoleum.

There will be no visitation.
