Etta Muriel Tyler, 87, of Henderson, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

She was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on February 6, 1933, to the late Mary Frances Hatchett Tyler and John Henry Tyler.  The matriarch of her family, Etta devoted her life to caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  At an early age, she joined The Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Alan Tyler and Tobey Tyler; six sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by three daughters, Evette Floyd and her husband, James, of Corydon, Kentucky, Priscilla Huff and Karen McNary, both of Henderson, Kentucky; five sons, Terry Tyler and his wife, Debra, and Carl Tyler, both of Henderson, Kentucky, Robbie Tyler and his wife, Lisa, of Newburgh, Indiana, Roland Tyler, Ennis Tyler and his wife, Shawna, both of Henderson, Kentucky; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services will be at noon Friday at Fernwood Cemetery.  The Reverend Adrian Brooks will officiate.

There will be no visitation.
