Eric Glenn Denton, Sr., 59, of Corydon, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

Eric was born on March 19, 1965, to the late William Roland "Jeak" and Martha Imogene Mills Denton.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.  Eric was a lifelong farmer and owner of Denton Pallets.  He loved to garden, read, grill and cook.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sylena Tinnell Denton; three children, Eric Glenn Denton, Jr., and his spouse, Candice Rich, Toby William Denton and his wife, Emily Denton, and Brittney Nicole Coker and her husband, Ryan Coker; one sister, Dawn Eversole; three brothers, William G. Denton, Bruce Denton, and Jeff Denton and his wife, Carolene; five grandchildren, Payton Denton, Keyan Eddings, Levi Denton, Chloe Cantley, and Lyla Denton; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Darrell Powell will officiate.  Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, Kentucky.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, and 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Glenn Denton, Jr., Toby William Denton, William Scott Denton, Ryan Coker, Earnest Tinnell, and Wayne Royster.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Brown, Brad Tinnell, and Darrell Powell, Sr.
