Emma Bernice Farris, 86, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord at 6:43 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, at Redbanks.

She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She was raised in Crossville, Illinois, where she graduated from Crossville High School.  Her greatest achievement was taking care of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Gerald F. Farris, who died November 20, 2017; her parents, James Marshall and Alpha Tennessee Brittian Redding; one sister, Margaret Mason; and one brother, Kenneth Redding.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Lance Farris and his wife, Brucie, and Victor Lynn Farris, both of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Daniel Farris, Gerald Farris, and Kelli Farris; two great-grandchildren, Payton Farris and Dylan Farris.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Mike Snyder will officiate.  Burial will be in Little Wabash Cemetery in Crossville, Illinois.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
