Dorothy "Judy" Ray, 71, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 20, 2018, surrounded by her family.

"Ms. Judy" was a lunchroom manager at Cairo Elementary School for 22 years and was loved by students and teachers.  She was an avid reader and loved cooking.  Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, having cookouts, and traveling in the RV with her husband.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Fred; two sons, Mike Ray and his wife, Michelle, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Billy Ray and his wife, Kristi, of Newburgh, Indiana; three brothers, James Duncan, William Duncan, and Robert Duncan; five grandchildren, Christina Ray, Sarah Ray, Ashton Hayes, Ethan Stover, and Landon Ray; two great-grandchildren, Reagan and Barrett Hayes; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Pastor Gary Wilson will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and until service time Monday at the funeral home.
