Dorothy Jean Gault Norris, 93, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

She was a member of First Baptist Church where she served as pianist for more than 50 years.  Dorothy served others through Sunday School, WMU, music, and prayer.

Dorothy and her late husband, Seton W. Norris, Jr., owned and operated Norris Hardware, Inc. where she managed the gift shop, toy department, and lawn & garden.

Dorothy was also preceded in death by her parents, William and Blanche Orgill Gault; her sister, Gladys Gault Stauffer; her brother, Robert Gault; and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Nasbitt Norris (Seton).

Survivors include one daughter, Constance Norris Meredith and her husband, Ralph David Meredith, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Henderson; two sons, Seton W. Norris, III, of Henderson, Kentucky, and John Seton Norris and his wife, Deborah Price Norris, of Louisville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Joshua Seton Meredith and his wife, Rachel, Amanda Kessler and her husband, Gabriel, and Kelsey Norris Enyart and her spouse, Alex; five great-grandchildren; Hayden, Hudson, & Hannah Meredith and Alivia & Harper Kessler; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Alan Chamness will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2021, and until the services Monday at the funeral home.

The family requests that all in attendance please wear a mask.
