Dawn Ella Cleveland, 59, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was born in Mount Gilead, Ohio, on April 16, 1964.  She was a graduate of Henderson County High School.  Dawn Ella worked at Taubensee Steel and Wire in Henderson.  She enjoyed going to the Sportsman Club and playing golf. Dawn Ella also was an avid UofK sports fan.  She was a member of Women of the Moose.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Wright.

Survivors include two sons, Cameron Weaver of Henderson, Kentucky, and Matt Cleveland and his wife, Julionna, of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and their three children, Ivory, Amelia, and Luka Cleveland; her father, Roger Wright of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Shelly Spainhoward and her husband, Kevin, and their son, Blake, of Henderson, Kentucky; one stepsister, Michelle Hloucha and her husband, Monte, of Henderson, Kentucky, and their children, Courtney Hloucha and Andrew Hloucha; and her beloved dog, Poncho.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Her son, Matt Cleveland, will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Spainhoward, Jimmy "Cheezy" Riggs, Sonny Duncan, Monte Hloucha, Mickey Besse, and Barry Gish.
