David Brinton Sloughfy, 85, of Henderson, Kentucky, formerly of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, died at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, Kentucky.

He had attended The Presbyterian Church of Henderson.  David was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran.  He had worked at Eaton Corporation for 27 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Sue Sloughfy; his parents, Brinton and Olive Sloughfy; one brother, Gary Sloughfy; and one grandson, Keith Horning.

Survivors include four daughters, Kimberly Reynolds of Atlanta, Georgia, Carla Horning and Linda Songer, both of Emporium, Pennsylvania, and Stacey Sloughfy of Newburgh, Indiana; one son, Allen Sloughfy of Verona, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
