David F. O'Nan, 86, Henderson, passed away at 4:41 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He was Korean War U.S. Marine veteran having achieved the rank of Seargent.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary O'Nan; one grandson, Jeremy Justice; and two brothers, Gene O'Nan and Norman O'Nan.

Survivors include his wife, Diana; two daughters, Coy and Bethene, both of Henderson; one son, David Y. of Henderson; one brother, Ralph of Henderson; three grandchildren, Richard, Kristen, and Jacob, all of Henderson; four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Quinton, Jordan, and Eli, all of Henderson; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Friday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and until 11 a.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home where prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
