Daniel Vincent Sellars, 38, of Henderson, Kentucky, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Center after an extended illness.

Dan, known as "Dan the Man" by his friends and coworkers, was born May 3, 1979, in Henderson, Kentucky.  He was a graduate of Evansville Day School and excelled in sports, math, and science.  He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville.  Dan loved working on cars and watching baseball and football.  He was a loving and devoted brother.  He will be dearly missed by all.

Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Diane Mattingly Sellars.

Survivors include his sister, Marci Sellars of Henderson, Kentucky; his father, Mark Sellars and Mark's wife, Beth Macke, of Corydon, Kentucky; one stepbrother, Will White of Corydon, Kentucky; godparents, Randy and Virginia (Ginny) Greenwell of Hebbardsville, Kentucky; aunts, uncles, and cousins in Kentucky and Tennessee.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, 604 Center Street, Henderson, Kentucky.  The Reverend Dr. Beth Macke will officiate.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017, and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
