Cathy J. Turley, 64, of Henderson, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Cathy was a loving wife, mother, granna, sister, and friend.  She was kind and selfless always putting others before herself.  She was an avid UK basketball fan and enjoyed shopping especially the annual Hacienda holiday tradition.  The beach was her happy place.  Cathy was happiest being with her family especially her grandchildren.  She was a dedicated employee of Methodist Hospital for 35 years retiring in 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.R. and Carolyn Winstead; and her parents-in-law, William L. and Monnie Mae Turley.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Donald; one daughter, Cassie Austin and her husband, Eric, of Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Kim Joyner and her husband, Greg, of Henderson, Kentucky; one brother, Jeff Winstead and his wife, Lori, of Owensboro, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Hannah Austin, Noah Austin, and Jag Austin; nieces and nephews; and her devoted companion, Roo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Pastor John Tatum will officiate.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday, January 30, 2023, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Austin, Noah Austin, Cody Joyner, Matt Joyner, Jesse James, and Troy Overfield.
