On August 18, 1990, she married Michael Knecht, beginning a partnership that spanned 36 years and was built on devotion and hard work. She is survived by her husband, Michael of the home; her children, Kaitlin of Henderson, Kentucky; Joshua (Courtney) of Boonville, Indiana; and Jacob of Elberfeld, Indiana; and her parents, Robert and Ann Shadburn, Overland Park, Kansas.
