Carolyn Ann Russell Nobles, 83, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at Creekwood Nursing and Rehabilitation in Russellville, Kentucky.

She was a 1958 graduate of Henderson County High School and loved attending her class reunions.  Carolyn had worked as a nurse early in her life at Methodist Hospital and for Dr. Samuel Taylor at the Henderson Clinic.  She was an avid shopper and enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains.

She was preceded in death by her husband 53 years, William E. Nobles, Jr.; her parents, Frank and Margaret Russell.

Survivors include her only son, Dennis Nobles and his wife, Vicki, of Henderson, Kentucky; three cousins, Mary Lou Ezell, Linda Slaughters, and Vickie Cottingham Schmelzer, all of Henderson, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Dan Book will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022, and until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Rick Yates, Robert Yates, Steven Hill, James Nobles, Gene Nobles, and Scott Nobles.
