Cara Sue Hunsaker Wallace, 87, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.

She was born in Grand Tower, Illinois, on August 24, 1937, to the late Willis Watson Hunsaker and Clara Ruth Hausser Hunsaker.  Cara was a retired nursing aide.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy David Wallace, who died September 6, 1994; her son, Timothy David Wallace, who died December 23, 2022; and her brother, Leon Hunsaker, who died December 14, 2018.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Matheis and her husband, David, of Henderson, Kentucky; one grandson, Andrew Stewart of Henderson, Kentucky.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The Reverend Jack Ross will officiate.

There will be no visitation.
