Brent Ray McKinney, 25, born September 1,1999, was unexpectedly called to heaven on January 28, 2025.

Brent was the youngest of three siblings.  He was a loving father, a beloved son, and a cherished brother, not to mention a one-of-a kind friend to many.  Brent had a career in construction over the last couple of years to where he even developed a close relationship with the owners.  Brent loved family, friends, motorcycles, fishing, shooting guns, and loud music.  Brent would fill any room with his charismatic energy and contagious beautiful smile.  He was always clowning, making everyone around him laugh; regardless of how his day was, he made sure others were laughing.

Brent was preceded in death by his father, Kent McKinney (Big Kent).

Survivors include Brent's children, Raelynn (mother Justine), Nevaeh and Layla (mother Brianna), and Gunnar (mother Halley); Brent's mother, Tammy McKinney of Chandler, Indiana; grandmother, Diane Houchin of Newburgh, Indiana; one brother, Kent McKinney of Chandler, Indiana; one sister, Diane McKinney of Boonville, Indiana; uncle, Terry James and his wife, Taylor, of Chandler, Indiana; cousins that Brent and his siblings have grown up with: Brandon, Harley, Kayleigh, and Logan McKinney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

We would like to extend our most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this possible.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
