Bobby Joe "Bob" Green, 74, of Henderson, Kentucky, died on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, Kentucky.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, working in various roles including communication-computer systems programming technician and instrumentation mechanic technician.  During his military service, he received several awards, including a Meritorious Service Medal, an Air Force Commendation Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. "Doc" and Lula Green, and one sister, Nancy Eckert.

Survivors include one sister, Peggy (David) Watkins of Henderson, Kentucky; two brothers, Jerry (Linda) Green and Timothy (Judy) Green, both of Henderson, Kentucky; nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held at a later date.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
