Beverly Knight Croft, 76, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at her home.

She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Beverly was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on April 17, 1948, to the late Cooksey "Buddy" Knight, Jr., and Ruth E. Willett Knight.  She was a graduate of Holy Name High School.  Beverly retired from the Henderson County Water Department.  She enjoyed playing tennis and golf and shopping QVC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William V. "Bill" Croft; and one son, Robert Derek Pruitt.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Brandon Pruitt and his wife, Chelsea, of Henderson, Kentucky; her stepdaughter, Carla Croft Gahafer of Sullivan, Kentucky; her brother, Stephen Knight and his wife, Shirley, of Robards, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Skyler Pruitt Nixon, Stephanie Young and her husband, Hayden, Chad Gahafer and his wife, Lydia, Hadley Alexander, and Griffin Alexander; two great-grandchildren, Carly Kate Young and Cooper Michael Young; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at noon Monday, June 3, 2024, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father J. Edward Bradley will officiate.  Private burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
