Betty Ann Gibson, 67, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023.

She was born October 15, 1955, in Princeton, Indiana.  When she was a teenager, her family relocated to Henderson, Kentucky, where she later raised her family.  Betty never met a stranger and was a bright light to all who knew her.  Her laughter, her silliness, her kindness, and her love will be missed by us all.  As you remember Betty, the stories that come to your mind will always bring a smile to your face.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Robert Hayes; mother, Betty Jo Book; brothers, Bobby and Ricky Hayes; sister, Jeanie Hayes Miller; stepfather, Bob Book; and stepbrother, Dennis Book.

She is survived by her two sons, Damon Gibson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Kevin Gibson of Henderson, Kentucky; her daughter, Amanda Fow (Nick) of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Nixon and Blakely Fow; her cousins who were like her sisters, Drew Williamson and Linda Brinkley; her stepsiblings, Steve and Paula Book; and many other extended family and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, 604 Center Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2023, and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Immediately following the graveside service, all family and friends are invited to a celebration of life gathering at Thomason's BBQ Banquet Hall, 702 Atkinson Street, Henderson, Kentucky 42420.
