Bernard "Bud" Feltrop, 92, of Henderson, Kentucky, died Monday, July 29, 2024.

He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Bud was born in Arkansas on July 9, 1932, to the late William and Lucy Edwards Feltrop.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.  Bud was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper and loved the outdoors.  He was a loving husband, father, Papaw, and brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bill Feltrop; two grandsons, Derek and Blake Walter.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Betty; four children, Mary Jobe and her husband, Jeff, of Corydon, Kentucky, Brenda Ashpes and her husband, Adam, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Danny Feltrop and his wife, Dawn, of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Teresa Svarczkopf and her husband, Tim, of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Herman Feltrop of Searcy, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Emilee Helmuth, Matthew Feltrop, Hannah Feltrop, Noah Feltrop, Ryan Jobe, Erin Jobe, Brooke Friley, and Andrew Feltrop; eleven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Friday, August 2, 2024, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Christopher Grief will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
