Beatrice Loney Stanley, 89, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 6:59 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center.

She was member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  She retired from the Henderson County School System where she was a school bus driver for more than 30 years.  She enjoyed racing thoroughbreds with her late husband, J.R., and was the second woman to hold a training license in Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James R. "J.R." Stanley, Sr., who died September 30, 2016.

Survivors include one daughter, Reba Grossman and her husband, Carl, of Spottsville, Kentucky; one son, James R. "J.R." Stanley, Jr., and his wife, Terri, of Baskett, Kentucky; one brother, Phillip Don Loney of Henderson, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Amy Grossman, Tanya Benton, and Jenna Graham; five great-grandchildren, McKenzie Harris, Kaleb Phillips, Nora Benton, Jasper Benton, and Brylee Graham; two great-great-grandchild, Gavin Cantley and Anna Grace Jackson; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at noon Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Father Larry McBride will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church or St. Anthony's Hospice.

Pallbearers will be Mark Loney, Jack Hancock, John Hancock, Jason Benton, David Graham, Kaleb Phillips, and Carl Grossman.
