Augusta Farley King, age 101, of Henderson Kentucky, passed peacefully Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was a member of First Christian Church and the General Samuel Hopkins' Chapter NSDAR and retired from Southern States Cooperative.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Cameron Langston King; her parents, Charles and Roberta King; one brother, Charles E. King; and two sisters, Carol Fulkerson and Dorothy O'Nan.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma Sangster of Louisville, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Brandi Sangster of Lees Summit, Missouri, and Amanda Sangster of Overland Park, Kansas; her great-granddaughter, Autumn Van Norman of Overland Park, Kansas; two sisters, Jo Meeks of Henderson, Kentucky, and Sue Roberts of Nashville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Dr. Chuck Summers will officiate.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
