Obituary

Anna Hyacinthe Wilson, 100, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Shemwell Healthcare in Providence, Kentucky.

Anna was born November 23, 1920, in Henderson, Kentucky, to Thurman and Pauline Parker.  Anna graduated from Holy Name High School in 1938.  She was a community volunteer in Henderson during the 1937 flood.  Anna spent much of her adult life in California before retiring to Kingman, Arizona.  She enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and several of their friends at Quartzsite, Arizona, and at the beautiful Lake Mead.  She also loved collecting handmade Native American items over the years.  Shopping on QVC was another one of Anna's favorite pastimes.  This love for shopping led to many nice birthday and Christmas presents for her family and friends over the years.

Anna was a multi-talented woman who loved singing, playing the piano, and sewing numerous crafts, from wreaths to Easter bonnets and corsages, for her family over the years. Anna was also a voracious reader and passed on this love to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard (Bud) Wilson.

Mrs. Wilson is survived four sons, Paul Drury and his wife, Nina, of Henderson, Kentucky, Terry Fulcher of Kingman, Arizona, Thomas Wayne Fulcher and his wife, Linda, of Lakewood, California, and Mike Fulcher and his wife, Jaquie, of Vista, California;  her sister, Delores Lewis, of Henderson, Kentucky; one stepdaughter, Florence Henninger of Montana; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind her niece, Barbara Elpers and her husband, Harold, and nephew, Herbert Lewis and his wife, Rhea.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.  Father Larry McBride will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.
