Amby Elizabeth Gray Mangis, 98, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away at 4:32 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

She was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Henderson.  Amby was born in Henderson, Kentucky, on January 8, 1919, to the late Erwin Ray and Lucille Elizabeth Gayle Gray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Stanley Mangis, who died December 16, 1991; and her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Elizabeth Schmidt and her husband, Joseph, of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Ann Gayle Groves and her husband, Charles "Buzzy", of Glasgow, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jessica Gayle Groves of Louisville, Kentucky, and William Stanley Groves and his wife, Tasha, of Versailles, Kentucky; two great-granddaughters, Mary Grace Groves and Kennedy Elizabeth Groves.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at The Presbyterian Church of Henderson.  The Reverend Eric Hoey will officiate.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.
