Allen Dale Wilson, 65, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

He was born on September 23, 1957, in Henderson, Kentucky, to Roy and Mary Frances Wilson.  Allen was a supervisor at Mulzer Crushed Stone in Henderson for 25 years.  He was a 1976 graduate of Henderson County High School where he was known as "Bullitt" to his football and baseball teammates, family, and friends.  He also attended several trade schools.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Laurie Green Wilson; his son, Joseph Allen Wilson of Henderson, Kentucky; his daughter, Kristin Nicole Wright of Henderson, Kentucky; his mother, Mary Frances Wilson of Henderson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Madison Nicole Scott of Murray, Kentucky, and Jase Allen Wright of Henderson, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Allen's life will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  The Reverend Michael Ballard will officiate.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Columbarium.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Allen's family wishes to thank all of his doctors and nurses and Henderson DaVita staff for all of their help during his long illness.
